It is a lightweight sock designed for walking and hiking in warmer weather. Women typically have a higher instep, narrower heel and lower volume foot than men, so to significantly improve the design and fit of the Women’s socks, Bridgedale have made the Women’s socks lower in volume, to improve the fit around the heel, instep and general width.
