The Salomon Comet 3D GTX is a great lightweight boot which is ideal for 1-2 day hikes. It offers great heel stability, cushioning and mid-height support. The Salomon Comet 3D GTX boot has a protective rubber toe cap that covers and prevents any damage to the most susceptible areas of wear. The Boot features GORE-TEX Footwear technology - a climate comfort management that provides thermoregulation, a key element of performance in the outdoors. The technology prevents heat and moisture build up during high activity and warm conditions, while blocking all external water. Featuring the 3D advanced chassis for ultimate stability, a moulded EVA sole unit, non-marking contagrip for excellent traction, OS Tendon technology offering improved heel-to-toe transition and an OrthoLite sockliner with specific ortholite foam and an EVA heel cup to deliver supreme comfort and cushioning. The upper is manufactured from waterproof split suede leather.
