The La Sportiva Trango S Evo is the latest evolution of this highly regarded climbing boot. It is Perfect for modern alpinism and is extremely light, responsive and comfortable. The La Sportiva Trango S Evo With it’s stiff midsole and climbing outsole is a great lightweight summer alpine boots. It’s in it’s element on rock the Trango S Evo has developed a loyal following among alpine climbers and for Via Ferrata. Sportiva have used innovative, performance materials such as Cordura and Lorica which has minimized the Trango S Evo’s weight. A Gore tex lining keeps snow, ice, and water at bay. The full rubber rand helps protect the boots from abrasion and also aids friction on rock. The lacing system is derived from climbing shoe technology, and features a lace lock that allows double tension. The ankle cuff has a multidirectional “3D Flex System” ankle hinge that allows enough movement for climbing, yet is still supportive. The Trango S Evo can take a semi rigid (C1/C2) crampon with a heel binding.
