The Grivel Matrix Tech is a lightweight climbing axe with Hammer using the latest modern design at home on both mixed technical ground and steep ice. No compromise over quality with hot forged X Monster Head in Chromolly steel.
It is the choice for climbers wanting low weight and easy handling. It’s light and precise. The Matrix Tech is an excellent all round tool. Not too technical to handle easy gullys but also well suited to climbing leashless on steeper terrain. Can easily be adapted with Grivel triggers for extra grip options.
The shaft is double curved to increase knuckle clearance and improve wrist comfort . Very efficient hand support with a small point in Tungsten Carbide for safety. A grivel Dragonne Easy-G leash in included
