The Edelrid Falcon is an light, robust climbing rope ideal for hard routes, on-sight, flash or redpointing when being lightweight is crucial. Edelrid's new special Pro Shield treatment  keeps the rope dry and stops the ingress of dirt. The Falcon is ideal for mixed routes and ice climbing and it’s Thermo Shield treatment ensures great handling properties.

To mark the middle of the rope Edelrid use Bicolor a process to create two distinct sheath patterns.  This makes the middle of the rope easy to find and lets you know when you have given out half of the rope.
